Volunteers

No Limits Adaptive Ski Association Inc. is run entirely by volunteers (certified instructors and volunteer assistants), and we’re always looking for more volunteers to fill a variety of roles.

Our volunteer group has been growing every year since our pilot program because No Limits provides a highly rewarding volunteer experience by expanding horizons for our skiers with disabilities. We welcome volunteers of all skill levels, whether becoming a certified CADS ski instructor or  volunteer assistant.  We provide all training for our instructors, free of charge.  If you are not a strong skier, we will work with you to improve your skill at skiing.
Minimum requirements for becoming an instructor or volunteer assistant:

  • Must be a fairly strong parallel skier
  • Able to ski green and most blue runs
  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Copy of a current police check

Volunteers will be given a free lift pass for the day that they volunteer.  Training will be ongoing throughout the season and time will be devoted to individual ski improvement for those wishing to attend a Level 1 CADS course. CADS courses will be held at Searchmont Resort and the dates will be announced.

All on hill volunteers must purchase membership with CADS in order to obtain liability insurance. Proof of membership must be provided prior to on hill volunteering.

We also have opportunities for volunteers to assist with behind the scenes support. Whatever your talent, we can help fill your time with a rewarding experience. Please contact us via email for more information @ nolimits@cads.ski

Hope to see you soon at No Limits Adaptive Ski Association!
